The
Flare Genesis Experiment
is a project associated with Johns Hopkins University in the U.S. to understand
the origins of solar activity and the effects that solar flares have on the
Earth.
The TIGER
project was designed to detect cosmic rays which allow researchers to understand
more about what makes up the universe.
Long
Duration Ballooning in Antarctica. These people are from Berkeley
in California and launch big balloons equipped to observe solar flares and high
energy phenomena
such as black holes and neutron stars elsewhere in the universe.
Center
for Astrophysical Research in Antarctica, at the University of Chicago.
They investigate the origin of the Universe from the Polar Plateau. Neat
